Mute swan eradication program should continue, Maryland task force says

A program to eliminate Maryland's mute swan population, opposed by animal rights groups but hailed by bird watchers and Chesapeake Bay conservationists, will continue unabated, the state announced today.

Corps writes predator control plan for rare birds
